The Portland Fresh Hop Pop-Up Beer Fest returns for it’s 7th year at Portland’s “top food cart pod” the Prost! Marketplace on N. Mississippi Ave. The beer garden features ten food trucks and ten rotating taps. Each day of this 17 day fresh hop marathon will feature seasonal rare seasonal beers with special tappings nearly every day celebrating some of the best and brightest breweries and regions.

Free to attend NO TICKETS, no special glassware, all-ages friendly and dog friendly!

SCHEDULE:

Friday 9/15 - Kickoff Party

The first day of 17 days straight of a full fresh hop tap takeover from the Bloodbuzz beer garden bar. Expect beers from Breakside, Threshold, Gigantic, Oakshire Brewing, and even fresh hopped Bauman’s Cider!

Saturday. 9/16 - Meet the New Indie Hops

Portland based hop innovators Indie Hops will showcase beers using their new proprietary hop varieties Luminosa and Lórien, probably a few Strata hopped as well. Maybe an appearance by the latest and greatest variety - Audacia!

Monday 9/18 - Breakside Brewery Fresh Hop Tap Takeover

Seven different hard to find and sought after Breakside Brewery fresh hop beers on draft.

Thursday - Friday 9/20 - 9/21 - Fresh Hop LAGER FEST

A 2-day total tap takeover of fresh hopped lagers from the likes of Wayfinder, Block 15, Gigantic, Migration, Buoy, Level Beer, Occidental, Breakside, Threshold Brewing, Ancestry, and more!

Fri. - Sun. 9/22-24 - Fresh Oktoberfest

Prost! Will be celebrating their Oktoberfest with German beer and food specials, classic drinking tunes and fresh hop versions of lagers, kolsch and Oktoberfest biers on tap.

Monday 9/25 - Ruse Brewing + Block 15 Brewing Fresh Hop Night

Portland’s Ruse Brewing and Corvallis’s Block 15 Brewing are taking over the taps with their fresh hop beers for one day only!

Wednesday 9/27 - Grains of Wrath Hop Night

Camas, Washington’s Grains of Wrath Brewing closed their nearby Portland location earlier this year but are coming back to the Mississippi/Williams neighborhood for a fresh hop showcase!

Thursday 9/28 - Yakima Fresh Hop Night

Yakima, Washington is the hop capital of the world and their breweries make some of the best fresh hop beers in the world. Join us to try fresh hop beers from some of the best: Single Hill Brewing, Bale Breaker Brewing, and Varietal Beer.

Saturday 9/30 - Seattle Fresh Hop Night

Featuring the best of Seattle fresh hop beers from Fremont Brewing, Reuben’s Brews, Stoup Brewing, and more….

Sunday 10/1 - Fort George Brewery Fresh Hop Night

Astoria, Oregon’s Fort George Brewery will be at the pop-up with all 6 of their fresh hop beers this year:

• Fresh IPA w/ Centennial

• Columbus Architect IPA w/ Ghost Town w/ Columbus

• Illuminaut IPA w/ Moonraker & Varietal w/ Luminosa & HBC 586

• Rock, Paper, Cascade - pale ale w/ Cascade

The Fresh Hop Pop-Up Beer Fest is all-ages and opens at 8am, 7-days a week and closes at 10pm. No cover charge or tickets, beers individually priced.
